What is Northern Lights? The Northern Lights is also called Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. Northern Lights in Iceland are only visible during the winter months from 15th. October to 1st April.
We will give you the best chance to see the northern lights when you are in Iceland. Our group leader is an expert to see this beautiful sky at night and know where is best to see it. He also can help you to take a photo shoot.
We will bring you to a place where you can see Northern lights. It is about 1-2 hours out of Reykjavik. Typically, it takes place from October to April.
The tour takes in all about 3-5 hours.
NOTE: we cannot guarantee that the dancing lights will appear but we’ll do everything we can to make sure you have the best chance to see them.
